The schedule below outlines routine well visits for most children. Some children may need additional screenings, vaccines, and/or lab tests based on their health and other risk factors. Certain states may require extra screening questionnaires as well. Seasonal vaccines/immunizations for the flu, RSV, and COVID-19 may also be recommended, depending on the timing of your child’s visits.

Review hospital course, growth, and overall health. Labs: Heel prick test for jaundice (bilirubin) if needed. Newborn metabolic screening test if not done in the hospital. Vaccines: Hepatitis B vaccine if not given in the hospital.
