A urinalysis checks for numerous substances and characteristics in your child’s urine to help diagnose a wide range of symptoms and conditions. UA can also show if your child has an infection or kidney issues.

This quick fingerstick test measures your child’s blood sugar level. Glucose testing is important if your child feels unusually tired, thirsty, or sick or if diabetes is a concern.

A lipid test measures the levels of total cholesterol, LDL (“bad”), HDL (“good”), and triglycerides in your child’s blood to assess their heart health.
