Jennifer Hensarling, NP

“My goal is to provide compassionate and holistic care in a culturally-responsive way to help promote the health of children and their families.”

Jennifer Hensarling was born and raised near Seattle, WA. She completed her undergraduate degree in nursing and her graduate degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Gonzaga University. Jennifer began her nursing career as a cardiac nurse at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla until an opportunity brought her and her family overseas to Belgium, where she lived and worked for three years. During her time in Belgium, Jennifer worked at the U.S. Embassy Health Unit and at the S.H.A.P.E. military installation, working closely with providers from all over the world in providing care and meeting the needs unique to the men, women, and children of the U.S. and foreign armed forces living abroad. Jennifer is excited to be back in San Diego, where she can continue to serve children and their families. She enjoys traveling, music, running, and spending time with her husband and children.
